It is often the case that by observing nature one gets the best inspiration. And it was the case with Arizona, created by the mind of the two designers Macura and Van Uden and their wish to represent the imposing landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. The irregular elliptic profile and the different layers explicitly recall these American mountains.
Their material consistency, which is compact and soft at the same time, is expressed through such a noble and ductile material as ceramic, used with a smaller thickness in order to make the lamp lighter both visually and physically (it weighs only 3.5 kg). Arizona comes in two colour versions, white and anthracite. The light source is fluorescent.
