Chilli clothing is a small women’s boutique situated in an inner city Melbourne suburb. A complete re-brand was completed by KPDO. The brief was to design vibrant, chic and sophisticated new space that would reinvigorate this small fashion retailer. Budget was the driving force behind this project; therefore we embraced many aspects of pop up retail design whilst designing this space. Simple, off-the shelf items have been mixed with bespoke elements. The crisp white timber veneer island joinery sits together with the off-the-shelf glossy white Dexion shelving system.

The pops of colour, like the crisp white and blue ombre cubes ensure the space is fun and fresh. The vibrancy and warmth of the front shop area contrasts with the elegance of the change rooms. We chose a soft opulent textural palette in this area, draping linen curtains, natural woven grass wallpaper and plush textured wool carpet. The Flos Foglio wall lights add a beautiful glow to each fitting room.
