Retail boutique, Swims was designed the mimic the boating lifestyle of the brand. Located on a city street, the façade has been wrapped in one hundred and ten recycled strawberry crates and contrasted with a neon sign; allowing the textural façade to stand out from it’s surroundings. The materials implemented in the interior were all sourced locally and consist of nautical rope, teak ship decking and marine grade plywood.

The stores interior has been encircled in rope, creating a natural sense of environment and forming the backbone for the displays. Navy blue walls set the backdrop to display the colorful product and let the rope and plywood stand out. Providing an illusive sense of escape, the design allows the shopper to experience the brand as a way of life.
