LVMH, the world leader in luxury relocated their UK Headquarters for Perfumes & Cosmetics to Great Titchfield St in London W1 and appointed Area Sq for the design and fit-out of their new 25,000 sq ft office space.

During the 12 weeks fit-out programme, Area Sq worked in closely with the client to interpret their thoughts into a design solution answering their specific space planning requirements. Amanda Godwin-Jones, Design Director at Area Sq says: “it was important for us to gain an in-depth understanding of LVMH’s business and integrate their team. I did embed myself in their business,
interviewing people and working alongside LVMH’s UK Management to ensure staff were always kept informed of progress.”

The facility accommodates a number of luxury brands, including Dior, Guerlain, Fendi and Givenchy. The brief from the client was to create a space which could be used as a backdrop, enabling individual brands to have a dedicated self-contained area within the office space whilst having a cohesive look and feel.

The office space conveys a quality yet understated feel where products can be displayed throughout the office. The minimalist reception area was designed to accommodate the LVMH brands and reflect the company’s elegant and sophisticated image. The 150 people office also comprises a break-out area, meeting and training rooms used to train the Beauty Consultant teams.

Vincent Jenniard, CEO of Dior says: “Area Sq interpreted our brief in a very creative way and delivered a design which reflects our identity as well as making the most of the usable space. Moving to our new facilities has given everybody a lift and clients have commented on how fantastic our new offices are.”
