The department store location posed a unique set of challenges for this Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa at House of Fraser in Bristol. Reis Design were invited to create an exciting centre of excellence for hair and beauty therapies.

Careful treatment of the space was needed to provide a variety of disparate functions. The designers solution to integrate a mezzanine floor into the design helps to establish a clear delineation between hair & beauty services and creates distinct ‘energy’ & ‘relaxation’ zones. The designers have employed a sustainable array of materials and energy efficient lighting to create a low impact, sensual, salon experience within this Department store environment.
