One of the most popular and successful shopping centers in the country, Bal Harbour Shops’ unique design takes maximum advantage of the Florida climate, minimizes awareness of the vast parking areas, and is designed for human scale. Lavish landscaping was employed to create a compatible environment with the residential community of Bal Harbour, and to soften the effect of the extensive parking areas ans surrounding thoroughfares.

Particular care was taken to select trees and shrubs which would withstand the wind and salt spray including the Black Olive, West Indies Mahogany, Sour Orangem Seagrape, Laurel and Hong Kong Orchid. EDSA provided design through construction services for this project.
