French womenswear designer Isabel Marant has two cool stores in Hong Kong, and the one in Causeway Bay has just reopened after a lengthy renovation. The store interior is designed by Paris-based architecture practice Ciguë which has designed a number of the brand’s flagships across the planet, and features natural materials in a clean, contemporary setting. The u-shaped retail space boasts bare concrete walls, alternated by sections dipped in a pristine white hue.
Wooden lattice panels – with various cut-outs for built-in clothing racks – are added to playfully create depth. These are matched by small display tables in the same material, and a concrete floor with a subtly crackled surface adds a sophisticated touch. The renewed Isabel Marant store carries the brand’s full range of apparel, shoes and accessories collections.
