On del Pasubio Street, number 106, in Vicenza, Italy, the building of an old 60’s factory has been transformed into the Zerogloss Design Store. The essential layout inspired by the atmosphere of the former industrial space designed by Francesco Innocenti of the Italian Officina 11 Studio reminds us of all of the beautifully curated design Halls from prominent global design fairs around the globe. Those that you just can’t stop yourself walking around in order to discover more of the design goodies on display!

Walking down one specific hallway a phrase unveils itself before your eyes… ”Express Yourself”. And that is exactly what Innocenti has done throughout the entire layout of this open space. Inspiring quotes positioned on the walls include Paul Rand’s ”Don’t try to be original, just try to be good” which stands out from them all!

The Zerogloss Design Store offers a collection of furniture and design objects, mostly from northern Europe, such as Normann Copenhagen, Muuto, SCP and Anglepoise as well as from an array of young emerging designers. An indoor bar and an outdoor space have been designed in order to host exhibitions and various events that are organized by the owners of the store. And so it is; another beautiful transformation of a former factory into a creative hub with a twist. And we love it!
