We transformed Y-3’s pop-up space in Selfridges denim studio last week to house two new collaborations. The first sees Y-3’s SS14 collection get graphic – a collaboration with super cool graphic designer Peter Saville entitled ‘Meaningless Excitement’ – with colourful images found from the internet and images of rain-splattered windows interrupted by type and vector-like graphics. Fluorescent strip lights cast a bright purple glow across the back wall, while a lit table top produces a stunning effect on the rain-splattered, hyper-colourful graphic created by Saville.

The second showcases Stella McCartney’s latest collection for Adidas; slabs of textured rock prints lie across the bottom of clothing fixtures to simulate the ground of the fresh outdoors, with a screen playing the collection film surrounded by the same print, as though it has been set into a giant slab of marble!
