Patagonia opens the Bowery Surf Shop in New York City, making it the brand’s first surf shop on the East Coast. The new space offers the entire Patagonia surf line including wetsuits and surfboards by Fletcher Chouinard Designs. The shop fills the partner space of the famous music venue, CBGB’s, and in traditional Patagonia style, the space was altered as little as possible to preserve the building’s history.
