In March 2014, Biorganic, Dubai’s newest and first social organic and health food destination opened its doors inTecom, Dubai. Retail Access was proud to have created the branding and architectural design of this groundbreaking organic F&B community concept. A 9000- sqf- store, designed to be an oasis of freshness, light and future thinking amidst a hectic city. The new social-retail space also includes a bakery, butchery and a café. Biorganic offers 3 values: Experience, product range and affordable prices that are unique in the organic market. It aims at, not only being the one-stop shop for organic food connoisseurs, but a place where organic food enthusiasts and customers curious about the organic food movement can get together, meet, exchange recipes and ideas, and enjoy the shopping experience and family-friendly environment.

The opening of Biorganics comes at a time when the organic food market is emerging in the UAE evidence by the opening of new organic-food stores, restaurants and cafes across all cities of the Emirates. The owner and General Manager of Biorganic, Joe Zaccour, however, had a bigger mission than just satisfying consumer needs. He wanted his new destination store to “try to educate people on the benefits of eating organic. Biorganic is a place for everyone, whether you have a special diet (like being gluten intolerant) or are completely vegan”. From fruit and vegetable to fish, meat and poultry including cereals, kid’s food and fresh homemade bread, Mr Zaccour is also committed to making organic food more accessible. Biorganic will offer one of the widest ranges of top quality products sourced from all over the world at affordable prices “to ensure that everyone is getting the best of what is out there, and that it is within their reach.” Concluded Joe Zaccour.

This is why when Retail Access was briefed to design the store for Biorganic, the Agency knew that the main challenge was to find a creative expression that will best embody the bold ideals of Joe Zaccour and yet give it market differentiation help it capitalize on the location of the store and meet the expectations of its potential shoppers.
Retail Access’ solution was inspired by the arts, nature and the human senses. Dima, Art Director at Retail Access explained: “Biorganic is not a store, but a living style. Combining fresh colors with symbolic nature motifs creates an atmosphere that fuses store to the organic product. Affordable and accessible organic food are key Biorganic believes; so we deliberately kept the design and colors simple not only to give that impression but to make the store inviting for everyone”.
The resulting Retail Access design with its fresh, vital colors gives the store great visibility from the road side and also assures passers-by of easy access and ample parking space.
