For their 175th photography anniversary, Panasonic premiered the Lumix CM1 smart camera at an event during Photokina. Presented as an all-in-one smartphone, it combines Leica optics with the world’s largest image sensor ever in a phone, a mechanical shutter, and a manual control ring. The device has the capabilities to handle 4K video recordings and captures photos in raw format thanks to its 2.3 ghz quad-core processor.
Images are viewed through a 4.7-inch full HD display and is also powered by an android operating system. At a resolution of 20 megapixels and an integrated wide-angle 28mm leica elmarit DC lens with aperture of f / 2.8, it ensures quick response times for photo shoots and is optimized to meet the needs of any professional photographer or amateur shooter.
