The first soleRebels store in Greece just opened in the northern suburbs of Athens. In an amazingly designed 100sqm store, customers of all ages can live a complete brand experience, trying on the unique ecological and handmade shoes, and learning about soleRebels mission and social contribution. Our main design concept was to use natural materials and neutral colors in order to highlight the product, as the shoes should be the element that stands out in the space.

Furniture, lighting and materials are carefully combined to promote the colorful product variety. Simple thin metal display shelves with hidden led lighting are used with a downward slope to best showcase the Ethiopian brand’s range of shoes. Car tires, coffee beans sacks and colorful thick ropes are placed in the window as a reminder of the raw materials and the brand’s natural character. In the center of the store, a composition of different-heighted boxes with special light fixtures creates a theatrical scene. Branding is also an important part in the store, as the black and white lifestyle photos give a more vivid tone.
