Eric Kayser Gandaria City by Metaphor Interior, Jakarta – Indonesia

February 6th, 2016 by retail design blog

If you see our previous Eric Kayser project, you will find out that we designed it differently as compared to this new one. Located as an island store in a prominent mall of Jakarta, this French-based boulangerie and cafe was specifically created to reflect its original shop in Europe. As an addition to the classic French approach, we brought some fresh ideas such as the hanging decorative green planters to freshen up the ambiance.

Grey is the new blue–Grey panel is opted out as a replacement to the classic blue color. Booth seating is also chosen in partial area to bring comfort and privacy for the guests, while loose seating with round table is being used to reflect the Parisian cafe style. The play of white tone marble combined with simple cut is adopted to bring out the modern feeling.
