Adrianse Group has designed the new activity-based offices of an unnamed company located in Gurgaon, India. Designed according to Client’s flexible working principles, this new workplace, spread over 150,000 sft, supports activity based workplace, telework, traditional desk work and mobile working.
The office is occupied by a business that delivers key data analytics services that form the base of successful business solutions that the Client offers its customers. The design objective was to create an inspiring and a unique office environment that relates to the working spirit of the team and thus providing its employees a sense of place, connection and belonging.
A Main Street acts as the primary circulation route connecting neighbourhoods of individual workplaces and evenly distributed shared spaces/destination zones. These destination zones function as open, informal collaborative and break areas that support a range of functions including group work, individual/focus work, meetings with technology and relaxing.
These destinations are themed around the services that the Client’s product offers its customers- travel, lifestyle, lounges, golf and entertainment. The binary code and digital circuits, representing data and technology, are manifested through creative design features that shape these destinations, thereby relating the work environment to the business activity.
