East Sydney early learning center is a state-of-the-art Childcare and community hub built for parents living or working in the inner city suburbs of Sydney. Architectural office ABA has transformed the existing building into the three-level Childcare Center while graphic studio Design by Toko has developed the colorful signage system.

Influenced by Children’s building blocks used to improve motor skills and spatial awareness, Design by Toko has composed fully modular timber signs. Each, unique in its appearance, can be re-configured if necessary. Using a magnetic application, the signage system is installed throughout the Childcare center developed by ABA – providing a light and contemporary color palette.
