Rockit Log Speakers are handcrafted from recovered acoustic quality woods by former world cup USA footballer, Jay Demerit, to help inspire kids. Rockit Logs are created from acoustic quality wood once abandoned by logging operations, then re-purposed into handcrafted works of audio + visual art by the former USA center back. Each natural shape, knot, pattern or grain means every single speaker in unique. Reclaimed from a neglected forest off-cut, or part of a fallen tree in an old logging block, then given a new lease of life.

Most people will know Jay Demerit from his career as a professional soccer player, but were unaware that he also studied to be an industrial product designer. He placed a huge emphasis on his education, in case his professional athletics dream didn’t work out. His journey is outlined in the documentary film “Rise & Shine: the Jay Demerit Story”. He is now bringing it back to where it all started: his training in industrial product design with his recycled speakers, “Rockit Logs”.

Featuring bluetooth audio, a powerful amplifier, and a long-serving battery life, rockit logs are designed to provide powerful sound. Each log is custom tuned to deliver premium sound quality in a timeless style. While many bluetooth Speakers have a power output of between 1 and 5 watts, rockit logs boom out 60 watts of pure audio power. wWstern cedar, fir and hemlock soft tone woods are used to create their sound profile–the very same woods used in guitars and violins to deliver full warm acoustic profiles that amplify quieter tones.
