The Peter Schmidt Group has re-designed the 19th floor of Atlantic House, Hamburg. Atlantic House, in Hamburg’s St. Pauli district, has been a part of the new skyline between the Reeperbahn and Landungsbrücken since 2003 and now offers a spectacular view over the harbour from the conference level of its 19th floor, where almost 100 m² of lounge space is today waiting for spontaneous meetings and evening events to be etched into its memory.

Employing a fundamentally new design the Hamburg brand and design agency the Peter Schmidt Group, itself a tenant of Atlantic House since 2015, has recently transformed the 19th floor into a location that agency employees are once more glad to visit. To preserve the view across the port’s cranes towards Hamburg’s landmark church the “Michel” and the Elbphilharmonie, both the designer and interior architects collaborated together to centrally position taller elements near the stairs and minimise furniture along the panoramic windows looking out towards the Elbe.
