This exhibition was holding in Tokyo, in TAIYOU no SHITA Koishikawa, from 14 th July – 29th July. Mikiya Kobayashi shop “TAIYOU no SHITA” changed the name to “IMPLEMENTS” on 30th June and also the location. Mikiya Kobayashi make a place for adults and children to enjoy as a gratitude to the city, past customers, and those who supported as during those years at “TAIYOU no SHITA”.

On the future Mikiya Kobayashi would like to design a park. With this own exhibition he wanted to express his own design, a design from his inside. This exhibition was supported by Karimoku, one of the biggest furniture companies of Japan, with who Mikiya has strong relationship from the beginning of his career. The fabrics used on the 5 objects are from Kvadrat.

PLAYSCAPE exhibition has 5 different items, which everyone could interact with. Swing, Seesaw, Cradle, Mountain (slide) and Rocking Chair. The exhibition created a happy atmosphere with the music of the exhibition made by Masato Hatanata and the children’s laughter while using the objects, their happiness was also transmitted to the parents, creating a friendly space.
