“Shengavit” Medical Centre is the first healthcare complex in Armenia which fosters a non-formal environment between the patients and the hospital itself. Initially, the idea was to design an environment where people would forget the aim of their visit to the hospital. With the help of colours, materials, natural lighting and design in general, our team did a huge amount of work on creating a place which would break the common stereotypes about hospitals: now, inside the doors of “Shengavit” Medical Centre people get an opportunity to be free of stress, depression and sadness which are normal reactions towards the uncomfortable process of visiting a hospital.
