Freshwaters is located within a public park alongside the picturesque Swan River in Peppermint Grove, Western Australia.
The cafe is entirely clad in rough sawn Australian Ironbark timber, designed to weather to a natural soft grey.
The cafe is a long, low, fully transparent and openable pavilion, created as an understated response to the remarkable setting.
