The design strive to elevate fast food dining to a new level. It is minimal and contemporary. It seek to reinterpret traditional Japanese elements in a simplistic way. The oversized shoji screen aims to mimics the existence of a tea house. The counter finished with white octagon tile resembles traditional motif. The communal table with a pitched shape design encourage communication with people. On the wall, the cantilevered suspension lamp is stark and simple. Like a tea ceremony, it seek to redirect the customer’s attention to the table.
