Nadagogo, designed by Design East, is a Japanese restaurant that incorporates robatayaki, teppanyaki, sake tasting area and a traditional kaiseki room. The restaurant’s concept was derived from Nada-Gogō, a region within the five main areas known in Japan for their sake breweries.
As one arrives at the entrance to Nadagogo they are first greeted by the dark, rustic wooden gated doors decorated with metal studs, creating a striking contrast against the marble cladded surrounding walls.
The main feature of the concept is the robatayaki zone which has a large dark brown ebony wood counter at the focal point of the room. The counter is detailed with gold handles, carved wooden details and draped noren at the front to highlight this counter.
