It’s a capsule collection brimming with trophies that allow it girls to frolic in style on the snowy slopes of many a glitzy ski resort across the planet. We’re talking Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s highly coveted capsule collection for Dior for the coming winter season, and it’s in Japan, one of the luxury brand’s most prominent markets, where a dedicated Dior Alps pop-up store has opened. Situated on the ground floor of Hankyu Umeda, arguably Osaka‘s leading department store in terms of high-end shopping, the pop-up store is designed by Dior‘s in-house design team and comprises two adjacent installations, unified by a canopy adorned with striking striped bands and stars (open through Sep 14). As said, the pop-up exclusively stocks items from the new Dior Alps capsule collection, ranging from headgear and ski goggles, to padded jackets, ski pants, ski boots, and of course, specially designed tote bags. Mind you, there’s even a tote bag in panther print, in addition to some other matching items, for après-ski prancing around the resort.
