Located on the magnificent St-Denis Street in Montreal, La Dépendance represents a new integrated space concept where a cafe restaurant, a boutique and a rental conference room co-exist. The Espace 313’s team faced the challenge of metamorphosing an outdated cafe into a fabulous and soothing Scandinavian-inspired interior. All spaces were carefully studied and maximized because the irregular dimensions of the local created challenges for the designers. How about the outstanding floral ceiling and its blond wooden slats creating a comfortable and enveloping restauration zone? The boutique space creates a pleasant spatial transition towards the conference room which is located in the back, to preserve the semi-intimacy it requires.
