Episode Suyu 838 is the largest single building among co-living brands in the world, with commercial and residential facilities, and various shared spaces located from the first basement level to the 23rd floor, with a total of 838 households. Collective B designed 10,928.3m2 of the shared space in this huge ‘vertical village’ to grow into a ‘sustainable village’. To realize the sustainable value in spatial design, eco-friendly finishing materials were prioritized within the possible scope of all designs. As a result, about 80% of the furniture and props were made from recycled materials and it led to a reduction of about 3 tons of carbon emissions.
