Nestled in the heart of Hong Kong’s Wanchai district, Tenzushi is a modern Japanese omakase restaurant. Designed by Design East the restaurant features a main dining area, a private room and a spacious outdoor zen garden. Upon entering the space one must cross a traditional Japanese bridge which leads you through the garden and into the restaurant. Tenzushi features a long counter made from local sen wood, framed by light wood joinery and a ceiling in the open kitchen. Outside of the restaurant there is a traditional Japanese zen garden featuring light pebbles, natural rock stones and bonsai trees. At night the garden is illuminated creating a sense of sanctuary from the bustling streets of Hong Kong.
