Following the recent second showcase of Louis Vuitton‘s A/W 2022 Men’s Collection in Bangkok, the luxury brand’s men’s boutique in Tokyo once again sees a major transformation of part of the premises with a pop-up store. The store, situated on the ground floor at Miyashita Park shopping centre in the city’s hugely popular Shibuya shopping district, features large-sized bandana monogram motifs on the building’s glass façade, which is one of the key patterns of the late creative director Virgil Abloh‘s final collection, and matching window installations. Inside, the bandana theme goes full throttle, starting with a floor-to-ceiling installation at the entrance. Situated in an adjacent space sits the pop-up store, featuring a similar bandana motif backdrop in blue and white just as the installation, but with paired with tie-dye effects blended in, and dotted with custom furnishings and curated props (open through mid-July).
