Hotel Helsinki has been a cornerstone of Helsinki’s city scene since 1930. After various alterations over the years, it was time for the hotel to receive a facelift worthy of its history and status. Design Office KOKO3 took on the challenge of transforming the hotel back to its former glory – with a modern twist.

Local granite, deep blue hues and custom-built furniture create the Solo Sokos Hotel Helsinki experience. The new look is a grand homage to Helsinki. Favorite bits of the city are found in numerous design details, like custom wallpapers portraying seagulls and linden trees. If you look closely, you can find references to other legendary Helsinki spots as well.
