Kaiama is a breath of fresh air, providing the Rhodes Waterside centre with a new take on elevated Japanese dining. A cohesive counterpart to its sister brand, Kaiama forges its own identity, embodying the soft and delicate wispiness of clouds with its refined concept.
The consideration of timber and white textured walls are nods to the aesthetic of clean Japanese designs, but the lightness of the visual palette refers back to the design concept of floating clouds.
The restaurant is finished with carefully considered details; the angularity of the table legs and herringbone tiles mimic and mask the irregular angles of the existing shop plan, while also referencing the refined branding.
