DENTON utilized a captivating creativity for the Roku offices in Cardiff, Wales. Roku, a pioneering streaming technology firm from California, sought a captivating 24,000 sq ft office in Cardiff—a hub that reflects their brand essence, and fosters collaboration. DENTON rose to the challenge, crafting a spacious, contemporary workspace honouring Roku’s brand and the surrounding Welsh heritage.
Multifunctional spaces for diverse needs
Step into the office to be greeted by bespoke graphic walls, a striking reception desk, and custom shelving showcasing Roku’s best sellers. The vibrant reception area, with its neon sign, reflects the company’s slogan for a strong brand identity. Dedicated testing spaces and lab facilities including smart TVs cater to the company’s needs, while superior amenities, including cycling facilities, showers, and changing rooms, create a comfortable environment.

• 7 PHONE ROOMS
• 6 COLLABORATION SPACES
Bespoke acoustic cascades within smaller collaboration spaces provide respite in the open-plan office and break up the main space into clear zones while providing an alternative work location from the main desks.
The collection of bespoke meeting booths and a central cluster of meeting rooms, training rooms, and VC rooms fosters collaborative work and bonding between Roku’s team members.
Bespoke graphics fostering community
A key aspect of Roku’s design request was to feature the company’s success stories and share them with its employees. Their achievements, as well as Cardiff’s charm, come to life through feature wall graphics and meeting room names inspired by local films and series like ‘Gavin and Stacey’ and ‘Fireman Sam’.
Alongside the agile workspaces, a spacious breakout area cultivates socialising and connection—a true embodiment of community.
