50 Sport, a renowned creative agency specialising in sports marketing, embarked on a journey to relocate its expanding team. We explore their recent workplace design, build, and relocation project; shedding light on how their conceptual space captures the essence of what they do.

The multi-award-winning agency had outgrown its previous office in Holborn due to its expanding client roster, which includes prestigious names such as Qatar Airways, NBA Europe, and FIFA.

In search of a new home, TDA assisted in putting forward four potential buildings in Midtown between Covent Garden and Blackfriars. After careful consideration, 240 Blackfriars Road emerged as the ideal location for the new headquarters. This stunning space not only offers panoramic views of the city, including iconic landmarks like the OXO Building and The Shard but also aligns perfectly with the agency’s vision and growth trajectory.

Their work revolves around creativity and digital marketing in sports, these elements heavily influenced the design of their new workspace. The company’s branding and services played a pivotal role in shaping the environment.

Large screens throughout the office emphasise the agency’s digital prowess, proudly showcasing client logos alongside its own.

A striking tea point, reminiscent of a commentator’s desk on a sporting channel, serves as a focal point where employees can recharge and exchange ideas. The addition of a large MDD U-shaped sofa in the communal area nods toward sporting round table discussions, fostering a sense of camaraderie and creativity.

A bespoke birch-faced plywood staged seating area, inspired by seating arrangements at sporting events, provides a unique and dynamic space for presentations and team meetings. Two Large Muuto Poufs have been added to complement and contrast the staging while adding some additional seating for the team.

The office space boasts an open-plan layout that encourages collaboration and creativity, mirroring the agency’s core values. The task seating areas are cleverly screened using Moventi storage planters and shelving by Workstories.

The boardroom seating 12 persons has striking views across the city. The large table is complemented by Workstories meeting chairs upholstered in Mica pink which adds a pop of colour against the London skyline.

The six additional meeting rooms add essential spaces for internal team and online client meetings, and two additional quiet booths were incorporated for confidential calls.

50 Sport’s new workspace has not only provided them with a stunning and functional office but has further solidified their position as a leading creative agency in the sports industry.
