Yes, Pharell Williams‘ first men’s collection for Louis Vuitton has dropped in stores and depositories across the planet, but also in specially designed retail spaces. We’re talking a series of dedicated pop-up stores. Following an ephemeral store in Tokyo, Beijing and a shop-in-shop in London, two additional shops have just opened their doors in both Los Angeles and New York City. Designed by the luxury brand’s in-house design team in Paris, the interior design takes ample cues, and quite literally so, from the Pont Neuf, the bridge across the Seine river in the French capital where Pharell’s first and much-publicised S/S 2024 Men’s Collection was shown to a star-studded audience last Summer. The backdrop, in glittering gold, also prominently features the brand’s signature Damier pattern which adorns the floor and walls where it takes on a three-dimensional form in specific sections to provide display space. A secret room concealed behind a bookcase presents a collection of hyped leather Speedy bags. The Louis Vuitton pop-up stores stock a rotation of curated apparel pieces, bags, shoes and eyewear (open through mid-March).
