Teeth are the cubes in the oral cavity. What surprises are hidden in this cubic space? Zhi Chi Dental provides the answer through design.
Newborn “zhi, chi, yi, ya”
“Zhi, chi, yi, ya” are the first syllables uttered by humans when they begin to learn language. These syllables symbolize new life, hope, and health. Zhi Chi Dental embraces this innocence and original aspiration, aiming to help teeth regain their “newborn-like health,” so we can joyfully say “zhi, chi, yi, ya” together.
Break away stereotype
Zhi Chi Dental’s spatial design breaks away from the traditional hospital stereotype. It rejects the coldness of white and steel, as well as the impersonal departmental guides. Instead, the entire space is grounded in warmth, complemented by soft sofas, lush green plants, sheer curtains, and glass screens, creating a sense of comfortable distance. Curved lines define the space, while thoughtful placement of guide stations, tables, chairs, and lighting strategically alleviates tension and anxiety.
Discover “Another Home”
Compared to a hospital, this place feels more like “another home”, with wooden furniture that carries stories, flowers in vases still glistening with dew, and hallways adorned with recently created “masterpieces”. Departing from conventional norms, the designers continuously subtracted from traditional designs, taking a step back to move forward, ultimately creating a warm and reassuring “family clinic”.
