Millennium Contracts completed the refurbishment works inside Zara’s flagship store in Battersea Power Station.

Spanning over 45,000 square feet and two separate floors, the store is Zara’s most significant commercial space in the UK.

When Zara reached out to our team, they had an established goal of creating a sleek and minimalist interior aligned with the design ethos of their other stores.

The finished space features a bright, modern design with a neutral overall aesthetic. Undertones of warmth have been added to the space with natural wood accents and select furnishings. The result is a space that is equal parts modern and inviting.

A specialist micro-cement finish has been used in various critical areas of the store. The concrete look of this finish gives the space a distinct industrial look. At the same time, we finished the ceilings in a matte emulsion, resulting in a pristine finish.

Also, security-sensitive areas were applied professional RFID paint, incorporating tamper-resistant tracking technology discreetly into the store’s infrastructure.

Overall, the project was a roaring success, meeting the very highest standards of design and receiving recognition from leading media outlets from across the globe.

The store reflects not only Zara’s commitment to modern and elegant style but also innovation and functionality.
