CBRE Design Collective’s Landal offices in Amsterdam redefine the workplace by blending biophilic design and hospitality elements, creating a welcoming environment that embodies the company’s brand identity and fosters collaboration.

After the merger of Landal GreenParks and Roompot into the new Landal, a new organization and a refreshed brand identity emerged. This transformation became the foundation for the design of the new headquarters in Amsterdam, a place where the brand comes to life and employees can connect with its core values.

The ambition was clear: a fresh start, an environment that is not only functional but also reflects the new identity and fosters a shared culture. The office needed to be more than just a workplace; it had to feel like a clubhouse with international appeal, warm, accessible, and without unnecessary frills. CBRE found that location on Wibautstraat: centrally located, easily accessible, and attractive to young talent. The building was completely stripped and redesigned to accommodate around 300 employees.

The new headquarters is more than an office: it’s a place where people can work, meet, and recharge. An environment that attracts talent and makes the brand identity tangible, modern, homely, and future-proof.

The design is inspired by Landal’s holiday parks and translates the feeling of being surrounded by nature into a modern office setting. Biophilic design principles guided the use of natural materials, earthy tones, and abundant greenery to create a calming atmosphere. Hospitality elements ensure a welcoming feel, while branding is subtly woven throughout the interior.

The layout is intentionally open, with plenty of meeting spots from the entrances on each floor to the central work café on the ground level. At the same time, there is ample space for focused work, meetings, and video calls.

Floors -1 and -2 are designed as a meeting center, keeping the other floors quiet. Flexible work zones, collaboration areas, and quiet spaces support diverse work styles and hybrid collaboration. Warm textures, acoustic solutions, and modular furniture enhance comfort and adaptability.
