Colliers International Design & Build Czech’s Aeven offices in Prague masterfully intertwines Scandinavian Hygge principles with contemporary design, creating a warm, functional workspace that enhances comfort, collaboration, and corporate identity.
The Aeven office design is a contemporary interpretation of the Scandinavian Hygge philosophy, blending warmth, simplicity, and functionality to create a space that feels both professional and inviting. The concept emphasizes natural materials, soft textures, and a calming atmosphere, ensuring employees experience comfort and well-being throughout their workday.
The interior palette harmonizes neutral tones with Aeven’s corporate colors, which appear as vibrant accents in furniture, wall graphics, and decorative elements. This approach reinforces brand identity while maintaining a balanced and serene environment. Wood finishes dominate floors and partitions, complemented by tactile fabrics and greenery that bring a sense of nature indoors.
The layout supports flexibility and collaboration. Open workstations are paired with quiet focus pods, informal lounges, and meeting rooms enclosed by glass partitions for transparency and acoustic comfort. Social hubs such as the kitchen and café areas feature warm lighting, terrazzo counters, and playful furniture arrangements, encouraging interaction and relaxation.
Lighting design plays a crucial role, with linear LED fixtures and sculptural pendants creating visual rhythm and enhancing spatial depth. The ceiling treatment combines exposed elements with acoustic panels, adding texture while controlling sound. Branded walls and color-coded zones provide orientation and inject personality into the space.
Overall, the Aeven offices embody a modern workplace ethos: a harmonious blend of corporate identity and Scandinavian coziness. By prioritizing comfort, sustainability, and aesthetic clarity, the design fosters creativity, collaboration, and a genuine sense of belonging.
