İkibiniki designed the VHV Reasürans offices in Istanbul to embody a modern corporate identity, fostering collaboration and adaptability through carefully structured, open spaces and thoughtful material choices.

The VHV Reasürans Istanbul office was designed to reflect the company’s contemporary corporate identity while encouraging collaboration, flexibility, and a strong sense of connection among employees in their daily work life. From the earliest stages of the design process, the goal was to create a workplace that not only supports functional requirements but also contributes positively to the experience, productivity, and well-being of its users. The spatial concept therefore balances openness and transparency with carefully defined zones for focused work, meetings, and social interaction, allowing the office to support different modes of working throughout the day.

The office is organized with two separate entrances serving the executive and operational departments. This dual-access approach provides a clear organizational structure while also addressing the different privacy and circulation needs of each department. Positioned strategically between these two areas, a central collaboration zone functions as the heart of the office. This shared area enables the spaces to either operate independently or connect seamlessly when needed, creating a flexible environment that encourages communication and teamwork without compromising departmental autonomy.

Within the office layout, each department was carefully designed according to its specific functional requirements. Workstations, meeting areas, and support spaces were arranged to ensure both efficiency and comfort while maintaining a cohesive spatial language across the entire office. Private meeting rooms and focused work areas are balanced with open collaboration spaces, allowing employees to move easily between concentrated tasks and group discussions.

Material and color choices play an important role in defining the character of the space. Natural materials, warm wood textures, and neutral tones were selected to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere that supports a professional yet comfortable working environment. These elements are complemented by carefully integrated lighting solutions and soft textures that help soften the overall office aesthetic.

Glass partitions are used extensively throughout the space to maximize daylight penetration and maintain visual continuity between different areas. This approach enhances the perception of openness while still providing acoustic separation where necessary. By combining transparency with carefully structured spatial planning, the VHV Reasürans Istanbul office creates a contemporary workplace environment that supports collaboration, adaptability, and a balanced daily workflow.
