The café was used to be attached to the Grand cinema which customers would easily misapprehend as a concession of the cinema. For all of the time, it had been silently gleaming at the corner and had been taken a passive role in attracting customers. But the fact is, this café is far more than that. By the time of cinema renovation, Chips Republic decided to step out and shows its British personality and attribute.
Chips Republic is still attached to the cinema, but it now went forth and with its own welcoming shop front. Contrasting the cozy industrial with Sci-fi touch in and out, the café actually stands itself out from the spacious cinema hall. The combination of comfy chairs, British theme fresco and the antique communal table has created a tasteful chill place. These elements have exemplified the British humor while at the same time brewed groovy vibe in this café.
