Bethan Gray’s original Brogue tables were designed for her boutique G&T Collection of Occasional tables. The G&T Collection features intriguing and seductive combinations of high-quality, hand-selected, natural materials, complemented by detailed production techniques. The Brogue Occasional tables are elegant hand-made, leather-topped Side and Coffee tables made from high-quality top grain leather, treated to give a durable finish. The features of the table include a hand-made, intricately detailed leather strip with decorative perforations and elegantly stitched waxed thread running along the rim of the table embodying the traditional motif known as ‘brogue’. Bethan Gray took inspiration from Brogue shoes, originally from the late 16th century, traditionally characterised by decorative perforations and stitching. Beautiful leather tops are paired with solid wooden bases which themselves have elegantly turned legs.

These warm and contemporary designs reflect her personal history, strongly rooted to traditional Welsh culture and craft. The three-legged wooden base of the side table draws inspirations from the traditional Welsh cricket table of the 16th and 17th centuries. Bespoke dimensions are available, although the maximum size of an individual leather top possible would be 2200 X 1000mm.
