Gresham, Smith and Partners recently completed an interior build-out for Jackson National Planning Corporation (NPC), a subsidiary of Jackson National Life Insurance Company®.
The new 31,000-square-foot workplace in NPC’s headquarters city of El Segundo, Calif., accommodates the evolving needs of a growing staff and creates an inspiring and eco-friendly atmosphere. The space includes open workstations, meeting and training rooms, lounge spaces, two cafes and coffee bars. GS&P provided programming, space planning, interior architectural design, furniture selection, and construction administration.
The NPC project comprises one-and-a-half floors of a three-building campus. To achieve a coastal-inspired atmosphere with a ‘quintessentially California’ design, the team incorporated plenty of the company’s classic blue shade, driftwood and charcoal wood tones, textured accent panels, decorative screen walls, comfortable furniture, custom artwork and plants throughout the office to establish a connection with nature. The result is a functional, sustainable and employee-friendly workplace that supports the company’s goals.
