CannonDesign has designed the new offices of software company Flexera’s headquarters located in Itasca, Illinois.

CannonDesign facilitated the relocation of this software company’s headquarters. The goal was to present an image of a company that has matured. No longer a start-up—indeed, one of the top 200 software companies in the world—Flexera has graduated to be recognized as an established, highly profitable international organization.

Flexera’s success stems in no small part from the culture it has built. Named one of the Top 100 places to work in the greater Chicago area, the company’s leadership understands the importance of its staff. The workplace supports the culture by engaging staff through dynamic settings that allow them flexibility of how they work. At the core of the headquarters is a large cafe intended for use throughout the day for more casual collaboration, with different options of meeting space immediately adjacent. Cool, crisp tones resonate through the fluidity of the space, creating a sense of movement and energy in a polished environment.
