SPEETA has developed a 100% airtight wood-burning stove, compatible with the 2012 Thermal Regulation and low consumption construction (BBC) criteria. The design of the hearth allows burning 30 cm long logs and almost all residues produced by this combustion, thus improving energy efficiency and promoting clean combustion. The SPEETBOX BY STARCK stove produces 30 mg/Nm3 of dust at 13% 02, i.e. almost 3 times less dust than a conventional stove and up to 150 times less than a fireplace. Emissions associated with burning wood (e.g. CO) are also limited and divided by 3 compared to those of a conventional stove.

A box filled with stones accumulates heat during the heating phase and gradually diffuses it for more than 24 hours once the stove has been stopped, in contrast with only a few hours for a fireplace or conventional wood-burning stove.
