Ukrainian design studio ODESD2 has released a series of new furniture pieces with bold, memorable design details. What’s cool about the company is that they have a design school and their goal is to pass along industrial design skills to future designers. Some of the new pieces were even designed by their students.
The modular shelving system is based on the rule of the “Egyptian Triangle”, which was used in the construction of the pyramids. The metal shelves produce a graphic pattern and can be stacked in different ways.
Available in different sets, these cushions can be strapped together to form various seating options. Adding to the Q series, the ottoman joins the other geometric steel pieces composed of triangles. The upholstery also utilizes triangles for its design.
A simple plywood base fits into a metal frame, which is topped off with cushions made of a durable fabric. The series consists of double and triple sofas, a wide chair, and benches that can be combined. This series combines functionality and aesthetics, which were inspired by Japanese culture. The frames and legs are made of steel, with wood lining the armrests. Available in a chair, sofas, and ottomans.
This chair blends constructivism and modernism to result in a strictness of forms. A solid steel base holds a bent plywood seat and backrest designed for comfort. A stool series inspired by science with simple geometrical shapes at the core and a play on textures and materials.
With a fair amount of time spent putting on makeup and getting ready, Madzari designed this cozy vanity for women to be more comfortable during the process.
