CPM Architecten has designed the offices of leading pharmaceuticals company Teva located in Berlin, Germany. Teva is a leading pharma company and decided after acquisition of ratiopharm in Germany to move their headquarters to the center of Berlin.
The prime address at Gendarmenmarkt and the straight architecture of OMU for the Quartier 205 had to be balanced and combined with the corporate identity of TEVA (which means Nature in Hebrew) and the approach of low hierachy leading of their head Markus Leyck Dieken.
We used sand colours for the carpets, light mostly white furnitures and daylight lamps as well as a lot of glass to achieve a light and open atmosphere. The teakitchens have bar seatings and windows to the corridors and are appreciated as much as the later added “smoothie corner” where employees are provided with fresh vegetables and fruit to create their own health drinks.
