Anand Sweets is a boutique sweet shop that provides its customers with an international retail experience. The retail space blurs the boundaries between traditional luxury and modern sophistication. The black and white chequered floor, in exquisite Calacatta Lapatto, is an adaptation of the flooring from the forts and palaces of India. These tiles partly continue onto the wall behind the service counter as cladding, tying the design together to highlight the retro extravagance while maintaining a visual harmony. The custom made titanium coated steel fixtures along with a minimal counter in Statuario further emphasize on the simple yet timeless Indian splendor.
