HUGUANGLI retail cultural and creative bookstore is located in the historical and cultural district of Nanhetou, Pinghu,Jiaxing city. The design space is an ancient water town built in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The design team took “light box” as the concept to introduce natural light into the dark interior, and set up reading display area and floor shelf with green as the main tone.

The bookstore connects the indoor and outdoor relationship through the transformation of the staircase shape, which perfectly combines the humanistic style and design on the premise of retaining the original architectural style.
