DENZA is a luxury new energy vehicle brand under the BYD Group. Established in 2010, it was jointly invested by BYD and Mercedes-Benz. DENZA has been actively progressing, and committed to bringing a new luxury travel experience to high-end family consumers worldwide.
In order to convey the product concept and adapt to the local market we applied the 1+4 Smart Combo logic, refining a brand-new localized solution which was fully customized based on the user profile and consumption habits of Hong Kong market.
There is a significant contrast in lighting levels between the interior and exterior of this space, so we have to avoid discomfort bring by the high contract. We chose a super-large curved mirror ceiling to balance it and let the space more open visually. During the construction process, factors such as local regulations, on-site communication, and customized materials also brought us many unexpected challenges. Fortunately, we always kept our goals highly aligned with the client’s, the best outcome is always the first priority. Our design team test the material cutting solution for many time, simulate and test again and again, we did try to find a best way that balance between cost, time and effect. Finally all of this experience will refine a guide model for future DENZA space.
