Coya, is a stylish Peruvian restaurant with a private members bar. Housed in a grand georgian building in Leafy Mayfair, the interior design has been crafted by the design team of london-based practice Sagrada, and headed by Richard Saunders. Coya’s setting is one of a wonderfully dilapidated luxe with Incan influences, paired with sleek and contemporary metallic finishes. The space brings together an array of painted murals, textures and finishes, and a string of antique Peruvian furniture pieces that collectively create an edgy yet sophisticated take on Latin America.
The main dining room is located on the ground floor and seats 100 guests. It features a ceviche bar where guests can sit and indulge in a wide range of classic ceviche and tiradito dishes. For a more exclusive setting a private dining room for ten is available, and comes with its own smoking terrace. The room opens to coya’s central kitchen and is spiced up by a piece of happening street art by a resident south american artist.
