Studio 103 was appointed by Turner & Townsend to deliver four unique designs for premium speculative suites for Mirvac at 600 Bourke Street, working to a detailed brief that focused on creating distinct workplace environments across Levels 10, 18, 22 and 23.

Working through a design and construct model with McCormack, the intent was to create four spaces that each had their own identity, while maintaining a consistent level of quality and detail throughout.

Level 10 takes the most grounded approach, using walnut, earthy tones and tactile finishes to create depth and warmth. Level 18 is the most expressive, with terracotta bringing a stronger use of colour alongside Australian timber and quartz to add richness and personality. Level 22 takes a more natural approach, combining clay, oat, sage, timber and linen to create a softer and more relaxed workplace. Level 23 is the most minimal of the four, using light oak, silver and eucalyptus tones to create a lighter, quieter and more refined environment.

Together, the four suites demonstrate how considered design can create distinctly different workplace experiences within the same building, with each space responding to its own material palette, character and intended tenant experience.

Well done to all our project partners on a successful delivery. We are proud of the work delivered across all four levels and appreciated the opportunity to work closely with Mirvac and Turner & Townsend to bring each design to life.
